Paul James
Paul set up Red Rock in November 2018 and with over 20 years’ experience in the cabling and infrastructure sectors he helped with the initial growth of the company. As Red Rock grew, Paul hung up his Krone tool and put away his screwdrivers and moved full-time into the office as Managing Director.
Out of work, Paul`s main hobbies and interests are travelling and hiking. He travelled around the world in 2004/2005 and regularly travels to countries like Nepal in order to climb and hike in the mountains.
Technical Director
Paul Bate
Paul was one of the founding members of Red Rock and joined the company in early 2019. He brought with him over 20 years of technical knowledge and expertise and was instrumental in firstly setting up and then expanding the telecoms, support, and internet-based services, Red Rock offers.
He is also our resident expert in all things Avaya. With more than 15 years' experience of installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and upgrading Avaya hardware and software, he is more than capable of answering any question or query you could possibly ever have!
In his spare time, Paul likes to play golf, watch golf, complain about golf, tell stories about golf and pretend he is actually any good at golf. If you have an urgent problem then it`s probably better to not mention golf. When not regaling anyone who will listen with golf-related stories he likes visiting different ski resorts around Europe.
Senior Technical Specialist
Alex Dunn
Alex started in the telecoms industry 20 years ago by working in his dad`s company. After rebelling in his late teenage years, he left and carried on with his cabling career under the expert tutorage of Paul James. After becoming accomplished in the installation of structured cabling, fibre optic, and wireless systems he decided to turn his attention to the more technical side of the telecoms industry in order to progress his career and since 2018, Alex has been working hard to hone his technical skills. In early 2020, Alex joined Red Rock and has since expanded his skill set to include SBC`s, firewalls, call reporting and hosted telephony. He is also now a certified Avaya specialist.
Outside of the office, Alex loves to spend time with his ever-growing family, watching sport and carrying out home improvements.
Senior Cabling Engineer
Chris Burnett
As our senior cabling engineering and with over 20 years’ experience in the industry it’s fair to say there’s not many challenges Chris hasn’t overcome. Chris has worked on both domestic properties and commercial giving him an appreciation of all aspects of cabling installations.
Chris specialises in the deployment of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and fibre optic cables. Chris also has extensive knowledge of legacy BT cabling and PtP WIFI solutions.
In his spare time Chris is an avid aviation expert and can be regularly found at various air shows up and down the country, just don’t mention commercial jets to him as ‘they’re not proper planes’!
Office Manager
Victoria Pevitt
Victoria started at Red Rock in the summer of 2021 working within the Finance and Administration side of the company. Whilst in that role it quickly became clear that Vicky possessed those skills associated with a multipotentialite.
Within a few short months, Vicky was promoted to the role of Office Manager where she used her significant supply chain experience and skill set to implement numerous processes and systems which have helped to make the company more efficient, productive and ready for any challenges that may come our way.
Whether it is HR problems, reporting, forecasting, or concocting complicated spreadsheets, Vicky has it covered.
When enjoying a free moment in or out of the office, Vicky loves to keep up with the latest in celebrity gossip and also loves to travel with her family both abroad and also around the UK taking advantage of her National Trust membership.
Finance Assistant
Eleanor Attwood
Eleanor joined the Red Rock team in the Summer of 2022 working within our Operations & Administration team. Her vast experience in her previous roles and determined personality made her ideal for our team. She brings with her exceptional organisation skills, financial expertise and fantastic customer service.
She is excited to learn more about the company and help ensure our customers have the best experience possible whilst enhancing all our processes internally alongside this.
Since having children Eleanor has had to sadly hang up her raving shoes…. most of the time!! But the kids are still keeping her on her toes!
Solutions Delivery Co-ordinator
Sarah Chapman
Sarah joined Red Rock at the start of 2023 as a specialist in handling and progressing orders for SIP, Internet, and Telecoms. As Sarah brings with her many years' of experience in Telecoms and Customer Service she provides an incredibly valuable source of help, advice, and knowledge for both our clients and internally at Red Rock. She is looking forward to progressing the area of Subscriptions and providing a smooth and hassle-free journey for our customer's telecoms needs.
Outside of work, Sarah can be found in her craft room, working with her laser. She is also working to convert her own van into a camper, ready to explore the UK and Europe.
